Cowboy Boots

are frye's considered cowboy boots?

i got a pair of vintage fryes that i've beat the hell out of for the last year and i'm still wearing them.

up in canada, vancouver, not too many people have been wearing cowboy boots and were sold only in vintage shops and select shops.

I think they are cute, but I doubt I can ever pull them off. They aren't really a trend here, either.

It's funny, I see them in every store yet I don't see that many girls wearing them, and when I do it aint a good look. I love them on MK though. I might have gone there a while back, but I think I've missed the boat. Once it's been co-opted by Payless and Target, it might be safe to say it's too late! (Not to critcise Target- bought some cute ballet flats in there the other day ^_^ )

i just bought some vintage ones for £30 so i was pretty chuft but would not recommend spending a lot because they will only be fashionable for a couple more months in the UK before the Chavs claim them!!!!

i live in west LA, and i hardly see girls wearing boots. I think that certain girls can pull them off though. At least they're better than UGGS!

i second that!

I have Cowboy boots and I love them a lot ... mine also feel very good to wear, not only because they're comfy, also because they're REAL cowboy boots (as a horse-riding friends confirmed).

I see cowboy boots everywhere here and sickenly many are pink or white. Fortunately there is barely anyone wearing them here (in fact I'm the only one with cowboy boots I've seen around here :O)

I do not like the traditional cowboy boots that I see in Amsterdam everywhere but I do like these cowboy boots from Anna Sui as they have a round toe and are much more feminine. what do you think??

^I really like the detailing, but I think I would prefer them without the heel.

^^^ those look like the ones Jessica Simpson has been wearing for the last couple of weeks. They look great in the picture, but they look horrible on her.

^Jessica Simpson has the unique ability to make anything look horrible no matter how nice it is

WOW! That's a great version! Feminine or not, that's my kind of boot!

Cowboys boots are now considered a "past" trend in most parts of Japan/Korea...
But really, if you are always going to be concerned about what's trendy or not, you are going to have to change your warobe pretty often?

Personally, cowboy boots are unique, I think it takes a certain type of girls to be able to pull them off :flower:

shoegal19. do you have a pic with jessica wearing these boots? I have looked in other threads but could not find any pics........

I have one pair, I have only worn them once, with an army green skirt and black tights. I think it was a cute outfit, but its not a look I want everyday or anything. These are them:

God cowboyboots were like hot last summer. Is it coing back??

I hope not, I sold mine :P haha!

^

I have three pairs of cowboy boots, but I will always go back to my favorite brown ones...the leather is soo buttery, they feel amazing.

Cowboy boots in or out?

I still like my white cowboy boots...

I see them everywhere in Europe. I guess it was a thing in the US couple of years ago but died down...

What do you think?

As a trend, I'd say there still in, but on the verge of going out.

As a wardrobe staple, I'd say they're always in. Just depends on your style :flower:
