I get the idea… There is no surprises here but my issue is it’s all done very badly.. What is going on with that cover… The team of Carine, Klein & Madonna should be magic but this just isn’t it… Is it me or has Carine lost that touch? If this was done back in the Vogue days I think this could’ve been epic… It’s definitely sub par considering the talent!! Maybe the rest of the images will be better but so far this is not it!!

I think Madonna stopped trying to innovate a while ago and she just likes wearing lingerie everywhere. This is her personal style.

I love this ‘dark’ imagery, but somehow i dont live for this

Unfortunately, no. It's easily the weakest portfolio they've created together... unimaginative and overly repetitive - why are there so many images of the same setting when barely any of them stand out? The most eye catching image for me is the opening Newton-esque shot of her legs. The red picture with the veil and the cigarette where her mouth is open and she appears to be blinking is one of the most horrifying Madonna images I've come upon - and they went and used it as a cover.

Mining Catholicism for visual shock value doesn't have the same effect in 2025. You see a lesbian smoking nun and you think, wouldn't blame you, we're all just doing our best to get through the day.
