I like it! The print-colour blocking, and the textures, both silky and tweedy, appeal to me.
 
the colour-blocking actually looks really refreshing to me here given the more graphic and textural treatment they gave it. and the tailoring....well you can tell shane gabier got a lot from working at dirk schonberger and jurgi persoons.....the technique is just signature.

I didn't think about it that way until you mentioned it. I was interpreting it as a sad attempt at tapping into an oversaturated trend. I still get a very off feeling about all of their work. Maybe I need to see these clothes in person but there's something about the proportions, color and line quality that makes them look fake, like dolls clothes, or clothes for a woman who is so utterly unaware and oblivious. Painfully uncool but not off enough to make it interesting.

I like it I admire their choice of fabrics and mix it together, it was very cohesive yet practically wearable.
