Daily Exercise

I went cycling today with my bf! :woot: Haven't done it in ages but it was SO much fun - defenitely have to make this a more frequent exercise ^_^

Biked to a yoga studio 4 miles total..they were offering a free class with receipt from voting on Tuesday (Obama!). Had a 1.5 hr class there

Yesterday 1 hour pilates on the Allegro-machine.
now i am sick, can't work out.

Love cycling, and there are cycle lanes everywhere in Denmark. But someone stole my bike! Damn you stupid ghetto!

It's especially brutal cycling in Århus, the hills are crazy steep and all over the place. I used to sweat like a pig when I had been downtown.

Sorry to hear you bike was stolen. :flower:

Couple of hills for me to deal with, on my route. First is so steep, i swear only a mountain goat would be at home.
Love coming back down them though, i attack the downhill sections, with the enthusiasm of someone who has been granted the gift of eternal life......
Yeeeaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.:woot:

Hey all, I'm not sure I've posted in this thread yet.
Yesterday I went on the treadmill for 45 minutes and then walked the dog for 20 min.
I don't think that's nearly enough though to lose as much weight as I want.
I think I have to start doing the insane Madonna work outs, like running for 8 miles, doing pilates for 2 hours and then cool down with Yoga for 3. That should do it. :)

I went surfing and swimming today for about 2 hours and about 2 days ago i did hill sprints.

Havent seen you around in awhile, ChrisDesigner. Hello! :flower:

Today I ran for 45 mins, doing hill intervals.
Also 300 crunches.

Today i went to the gym for an hour did 20 mins running 200 sit ups and the rest of the time weights and streching for my legs. Then about two hours ago i had a water fight at school ha ha i count that as heavy exercise and just before went for a 30 min walk with the dogs.

an hour & 15 minute run on treadmill
30 minutes stretching and core workout on exercise ball
45 minutes in the steam room

Ran to the gym-3.5 miles
Once there did various ab exercises, and did Chest/Back/Shoulders.
Ran home.

Yesterday I went out bush walking/hiking with the boyfriend. It was a lot of fun. We walked over 6.5kms.

This morning I got up early to avoid today's heat and went out power walking with my doggy. He absolutely loved it!!

I've just started cycling, in addition to my usually weights routine.
Here in Bristol, im used to cars pulling out on me...when im driving. But on a bicycle it takes abit of getting used to. But i caught one of them up the other day...........:innocent:
Defiantly addictive....im shopping for a decent racer......:woot:

Traffic is a mixed blessing. It is a threat to life and limb but mixing it up on a six lane surface highway with traffic lights and turning lanes at rush hour can be a thrill. It makes me go faster. I have crashed three times in traffic but all three times it was my mistake and no other vehicles were involved.

I imagine road cycling anywhere in the UK in winter must be a challenge. I'm also guessing it will make any rider tougher for it.

Today:

- Swimming - 36 laps in 40 min

finally I started with swimming again.
