Dakota Fanning

^i think the length itself is ok, it's just that it's such a boring cut. she needs a few layers asap and i just hate that she always has it parted in the middle.
yeah, i don't think the short hair would fit her (judged by that movie she has that wig on for), either a bob or layered do would be good enough to lift it up a bit.

Her hair needs to be messier. Straight hair with a parting does not suit her (or many people, really). This should be her hairspiration:

^Exactly! It needs some body!! It's so flat!! It bothers me so much.
I don't think she needs to go short, but she definitely needs to add some layers, volume, etc.

Agree with all - her hair is bad. It is not flattering. In addition, her style, to me, is often slightly "off". Something ruins the outfit. It's either too much or one piece wrecks it.

Some of those poses look so odd. I agree about the hair, she doesn't even need to cut it, just style it differently.

I've felt this way about her hair for years...like since she was fifteen or something. Which is why I had hoped that wig on Now Is Good was not a wig but her real hair. She definitely needs a drastic change, especially after these last batch of pics. Because that dress is so good, and the hair just brings it down.

great dress, don't like the strappy heels tho. :/ i won't even comment on the hair anymore.

As much as I love the dress that she wore at that award show, I think that she should try to wear more lively colours, because all those shades of beige that she stubbornly wears on most rc events are really washing her out

And of course her hairstyle doesn’t do her any favours.

On a more positive note, I love her leather jacket. The last two casual outfits are nice.

Highlights from Miss Fanning's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Wonderland!

On being a young celebrity:
“I’ve never really felt like a child star, that name always felt really odd to me. I’ve just felt like I was an actor at 6 and 7 and, you know, a child who happened to act. But when you turn 18 you’re seen as able to do more things and more roles.”

On her career taking off after starring in 'I Am Sam':
“For someone who’s that young to feel completely at home being filmed playing someone else, that really means that that’s where you belong. So that’s how I view that film as a whole - as a moment when I just realized, ‘I could do this. I could do this forever.’”

On On being averse to social media:
“I just, I really don’t need to let people know where I am and what I’m doing. I feel like a lot of people want their privacy but yet they tell people where they are. [Laughs] It’s just not for me. I don’t have a Facebook or Twitter and I won’t ever. There’s plenty of impostors out there! There’s enough Dakota Fannings on Twitter for all of us!”

Not my fav photoshoot of hers, some shots are really cute like the last one and the one in the sequin Chanel dress:flower: but the other ones are way too overdone and look too costumey. I loved her dress at the GLAAD awards, had a very vintage glam 70's vibe to it:heart:
