One of the most striking trends to emerge recently is the use of gold to enhance features or to simply to create a bold metallic statement on eyes, lips and skin. From the dramatic gilded brows and lips at Dior’s SS14 show, to the subtle golden glaze models sported at Pucci’s fall show, makeup artists have embraced the look. Off the catwalk women have been playing with metallic textures for ages unleashing their creativity via an array of sparkling shadows, glosses and powders. Makeup artist Mary Irwin guides us through the gold rush and pushes the limits of the look on the beautiful Damaris Lewis.

She inspires him and I'm sure they're close by now.
