Ohhh, I adore the third outfit (the black and white one with the red bag). Fabulous!

She is a true english eccentric  I love how she puts her couture together. has anyone got anymore pictures?

Daphne needs more love! She's is a true original - 100% unique. I love her signature two tone hair - its so Cruella DeVille but at the same time its really very baroque.

She's one of the few people who can really pull of the more extremist looks from McQueen and Lacroix. It seems very natural for her to wear these statement outfits I can't really imagine her in like a twin set and pearls.

From the NY Times Style Originals

Daphne Guinness | Social Butterfly While No. 32 on Tatler magazine’s most-invited list in 2004, the London-based brewery heiress Daphne Guinness is not one to gad about town in anything predictable. Having dabbled inside fashion’s ranks, covering couture from a client’s perspective for Tatler, she has a personal style that cannot be store bought — first, because it’s evolving, and second, because it depends on which period in history she’s in love with. Right now, 17th- and 18th-century "dandyish" men’s wear, stylized hats, uniforms and all things military have her standing at attention. "I don’t paw through magazines and say, 'This is what I want,"' she says. It’s an approach to style that has garnered her a following: when she wears different-colored shoes to a runway show, it makes the papers.

A bit on Daphne's background / family. She is an heir to the Guinness fortune and quite the blue blood - I think its interesting to look back on these things it really shows you how small the social set really is. Lots of six degrees of separation. Here is an excerpt from Daphne's page on The Peerage.

I've always respected her bold fashion choices.

Interesting that she married a Niarchos, seeing as Victoria Guinness (Stav and Eugenie's mom) married a Niarchos, but I don't think Daphne and Victoria are related, right?

I've loved her since i saw her on a bbc? documentary about the couture world. Her grandmother i think it was loved it too.

i like that she doesn't look like typical socialite when it comes to her wardrobe choices..
she's quirky and willing to take a lot of risks..
and while i don't always think it works i can definitely respect what she's doing ^_^

I love her style! Does anyone have pics of her wearing the McQueen Ostrich dress from F/W 06?

I loved that documentary! I watched it on a plane and got a bit over-excited :woot:

^ Daphne was one of the best things about that documentary. I thought the reporter was completely daft and just didn't seem to "get" couture until the very end but that's just me.

Daphne has been almost completely out of sight this fashion week. I wonder what is up with that?? Perhaps she will surface at Chanel  I'd love that!
