i can't help myself, but after reading that interview with her from couple of pages back in this thread, this newest candid (backstage pic) seems so sad. that's the first word that crossed my lips.
don't know why,but as much she's pretty straightforward in fashion sense (which is flawless and perfect) she, as much, seems so lost in her life - as if she's trying to recreate the atmosphere and live the life she could've (not) live 10 years ago and still not finding what she's looking for.

But then she is without her lower half of clothing pretty much...I just would hope she gave consent (maybe she doesnt care) before her rear-end is shown off on the internet. Who knows what was going on there? Maybe nothing at all, but something about it seems voyeuristic in a very unsettling way...

I agree to an extent. It was taken at a media saturated party-there were photographers everywhere so taking your skirt off is not the best idea-unless you don't really care about that kind of thing-which I don't think she would.
I am really intrigued by her....she seems uneffected and tragic at the same time.

AND ETA:I was just searching for The Secret World of Haute Couture on Youtube as its normal HQ had been pulled someone HAS been nice to upload it, but I hate watching a reflection of whatever in someone else's television set so in a way I was glad Daphne's part was shorter than I remembered, but I love her description of herself on that day:

"I am wearing a combination, which is normal for me since I tend to throw things together. This is a couture jacket. Ancient. This is a sort of wooly Rick Owens thing, and then these trousers are sort of jeans from somewhere. I've put some crosses on them. But nothing really special. Uh, normal."
