i think difference is made by marketing and modeling more than growing up. in the those german early pics we have daria 'au naturel' and i'm sure she must not be so different now in her real life. they make me think of the pirelli backstage vid, when she laughs after she's made the funny pic with fontana.

Although I have also noticed that faces can become more angular with age. I look back at pictures of myself at 18 compared to my later 20's and not my early 30's and although I my body frame was probably smaller my face looked fuller. Now I am more muscular and my face seems more angular. Just a random though.

i don't think abul meant to be nasty. he simply commented the pics, which objectively are rather clumsy and evidently not elegant. that being said, shots like that are even more precious cos one can better understand daria's career. we are very happy to have the opportunities to see them. i wish i could see more of early works and i'm always grateful to those who bring old pics cos such pics say a lot about daria. much more than any official and controled interview she can give.
but i also think that there's no conflict in liking a model or an actor or a singer or a writer etc. and criticizing their works, as so far as it's constructive criticism.
