Anyway, the writing was on the wall since this summer but I thought they might be smarter than that.
And I am wronged, they aren’t smarter than their petty dramas.

its not petty ...the where speaking as a family for months to buy versace pro and contas and how to grow it .... so they must had a list of cd´s in mind.
prada was not part of the deal of knowing he went there and that is part of the value as well of the price etc .

and maybe he was never considered for this versace project...we don't know the original plan ..capri moved to secure a higher price by getting nr 2 at the hottest brand maybe prada did not win the bid but another group so it was capri´s gamble.

Really the worst year possible for someone.
I hope that he was fairly compensated.
Business is business but it’s probably for the better.
He wanted to left the Prada group. It would have been probably hard to deal with the Bertelli father. We don’t know in which conditions he left MiuMiu.

Capri hiring him from MiuMiu thinking that it would facilitate the sale to Prada is a strategic decision. Nobody was ever going to mention that in the hiring process.

prada ´s son said they were not notified and also did not get some sort of finders fee etc from the dario deal so clearly prada was not happy with capri and even more dario that left for highly personal reasons he mentioned he asked him to stay .

what more can the owners do ..dario is an employ ..he made a bet and it caught up with him.
big player big prizes or in this case losses.

A truly baffling strategic decision, knowing what we know about the Prada group. Sure the sale went through in the end, but what were they doing with Vitale? Did Capri think Patrizio Bertelli was going to be happy that they were poaching employees from Miu Miu? The logic, or lack of it, is utterly baffling.

Hint of separate creative direction for menswear and womenswear? Are they gonna follow the LV route with NG and Pharrell? I don't think they can afford that at the moment.
Hedi is free at the moment but there's no way he could get along with the Bertellis LOL
Riccardo is burnt and kinda cancelled.
Olivier might be a pleasant surprise if he goes back to his early Balmain's era roots. Balmain SS13 was more Versace coded than the trainwreck from Dario honestly.
