Dark Hair, Big Bangs

I see this trend a lot lately and I'm rather fond of it - women with long, dark brown/black hair and long bangs. It's interesting.

it looks like a french-something mix. not sure what. but i like it best on cate blanchett, on lou doillon it looks a bit scary. it sort of lengthens her face, which she doesn't need. ok, maybe it's her mouth. although she has nice teeth.

I lovelovelove this look, it's VERY french, I have some french girlfriends with hair like this always dressed in black, it's not something you can replcateit's just there you have it or not.

I find it so beautiful, slightly messy, you know.

It's VERY Pernille Rosendal. Danish singer. She was extremely popular a couple of years ago, everybody in Denmark had bangs back then.

I don't like it on Monica Belucci either, but it rocks on Cate Blanchett. It really depends on the persons face and style, cause a lot of people wouldn't be able to pull that off.

Ive resently made the plunge about 4 months to go from light blonde to dark brown .. and its one of the best desisions ive made in a while imo .. and i love my bangs they hide my monster forhead. I dont actually think I have any friends with blonde hair now .. they all copied me lol and taken the plunge to go dark =[
but this is a look i like very much .. i cant think of a word to discribe why but im a big fan of this look.

I like this style but isnt sure it really suits me. I cut my bangs between my eye and eyebrow. I dont know if it looks good on me. It makes my head look more round and my face look more bloaded. I think it looks better on people who have longer forheads.
