Be still my heart! Her first editorial! I'm resorting to the use of emoticons to convey my happiness but I think the pictures turned out so nicely. She's so fresh and captivating - one of those girls you can't help but root for because there is something special about them. I think The Imagist, described it perfectly - you just get a gut feeling when you see her and you can't help but want to see her at the top of the heap.

I also agree with his assessment that she's a smart cookie.

Si! She has that unk coolness factor. When I think of An's face the first think that comes to mind is her wicked nose, but now that you mention it again, I see the resemblance (in the brows especially)! Now that I'm getting so analytical over her, I can't help but think of Suvi and Anabela... At the risk of sounding old-fashioned, man I do hope Darya turns out somewhat more like Anouck and/or An.

It was so easy to capture her personality...so effortless and thoughtful. I think it was my quickest shoot yet!
