Delvaux Bags

Well I was schooled today on the history of this extra luxury brand from Belgium. It seems like it's a preferred choice for European Royalty only sold in the US at Saks. They have a small selection. Has anyone seen them? Their logo is very understated but if you look closely, you CAN see the trademark D on the buckle/closure of the bag. I seem many wealthy Japanese women carrying these bags around the city as well.

In Belgium it's quite a big brand and known as 'chic ,but not obvious',I think the bag aren't really anything special or worth the money.Ok if you are looking for a basi,classic bag.

I am tempted to get one by Delvaux, instead of an LV Alma bag. love the Alma bag, but I see them everywhere - and now I know how to spot a fake - and they are definitely fakes. bummer.

more info - some are the artisans are Hermes trained. this seems to me to be well worth the money...

Most Belgians who carry this brand of bag are over 50. My mum likes some of their bags and she is 50.
