Denim shorts

I hate to say it but Abercrombie & Fitch has some great denim shorts, granted they are a bit short but I like them.

I love the look of those shorts, but I tried them on, and they fit really badly. Waist is too big for the size of the thighs... but maybe it's just me !

I was a bit apprehensive to get a pair cause my legs aren't as thin and long as most models and I was trying to avoid the Britney-coming-out-barefoot-of-a-gas-station-washroom look (does that make sense?). But I couldn't resist this pair from Topshop (and the weather's getting really warm, I need more shorts!).

The fit is great (makes my behind look awesome) and the wash looks so much better in person.

Wonderful Rodellee wears denim shorts perfectly!
I just adore her style, she dresses the way she wants and looks allways lovely.

i just bought a pair of denim shorts from abercrombie and fitch and i do agree that the waist is bigger than the bottom....i bought them anyway hoping they would shrink but i just wear a belt with it they're sooo cute!

Okay, so I have tried twice to cut an old pair of my jeans to shorts, except I wear my jeans skinny and tight and when I cut them, unless I cut them really short (so short that it makes my mother go, "Young lady, you are NOT wearing those out!" ), if I keep them longer, they look strange, because they're tight in the thights, and like some sort of jean biker shorts haha.

So...I decided to borrow from the boys. Went to a secondhand shop and picked up a pair of guys American Eagle jeans in the smallest size they had (though even the smallest size barely worked, but I have pointy jutting hip bones that keep them up haha) and then I cut them up, and then rolled then up. They look pretty good, and I got to get the exact length I wanted without running around everywhere trying on shorts.

Ill probably go to Goodwill get a cheap pair of boys jeans & cut them... those are the best anyways. Victoria Secret has a cute pair but why pay $50.00 or more when you can get a pair for next to nothing?!

Exactly! I'm quite tight on money lately, since I'm currently in the midst of building an online business, and I didn't want to pay $30-$50 for jeans shorts, or even more for jeans, only to chop them up! The jeans I got were only gently worn, and I got them for $16, I would have liked them even cheaper, but I realize they probably originally retailed at $60 or so. So, still a great deal!

An old pair of men's Levi's 501 jeans work the best for me.. and they rip perfectly. They are like $3 at any thrift store..
