“This is dedicated to Rihanna,” said Derek Lam of his resort collection. By that, the designer means he channeled a Caribbean vibe, punched up an edgy, urban and seriously sexy notch. (Read: No billowy caftans here.) Bustier tops were peplumed, while pajama pants featured kicky shell prints. Even accessories got the sensual island boost. Case in point: the strappy espadrilles in ruched satin.

Rihanna is not good fashion inspiration imo, I agree. He could have done so much better. I love the colors, but overall it does look tacky.....
