Designer Pet Carriers

I'm on of those fruits who buy their pets a lot of clothes and crap

For those who are asking about the Dior Pet carrier- just call Fifi and Romeo.

When I used to work for Chanel Parfums, we used to get every week a box with huge rolls of red satin ribbon with the CHANEL written all over in white, we used to get it also in sheer pinks and lavenders for special seasons, for gift wrapping purposes....of course, the silly me used to take all the ribbons home, and I used to make little bows on my Billie ( im turning the poor thing into bruiser  ), and I even used it as a nice bow tie for me, headband, whatever

Just go over, buy something, and let them give you the ribbon

Oh how I'd love to work for Chanel Parfums, I can imagine so many hot ways to wear the ribbon, I'm sure you had a great time

Funny story.

My mother went to a high end clothing store that had designer duds for pets.

So she picks out a cashmere sweater for her pug. The dog was with her so the sales person measured the dog and says "Oh we'll have to look in the plus sizes"

My mother got insulted

Oh man, now that is a person who loves the dog too much :P

I don't care if my dogs plus size or not...I'd just poke fun at my lil fatty.

Some of those bags are way too enclosed and I think could actually be dangerous to your dog or cat. A lot of animals get nervous in the car and hyperventilate. I think putting the flap down over the LV pet carrier would be a tremendously bad idea.

I just don't get these carriers. What if your puppy gets freaked out and loses bladder control? A lot of those wee little lapdogs are high strung like that. A friend of mine, growing up, had a little long-haired chihuahua who would lose her wits and run through the house with pee dribbling down her back legs whenever something loud happened, like my friend slammed her bedroom door, or her mom dropped a pot in the kitchen. Or what if your dog gets car-sick. My parents had a mastiff dog who used to barf in the car unfortunately regularly, and my in-laws had a cat who would get pukey in the car.

This is the best carrier for my money. With the skylight top, it is easy to put your pet in when you have to travel, and they can see well out the front gate, which also makes it easier to let them out when you get to wherever you are going. And if your critter gets carsick or freaks out and pees or poops, it is very easy to clean, unlike leather.

Practicality rules! The notion of LV dog-carriers is slightly sickening...

Yes, I agree. I can deal with Hermes leashes and Gucci tags, but any place where a dog is going to excrete.....excretion, shouldn't be so expensive and trendy.

Donald J. Pliner dog carriers... :yuk:

How the hell do you get a dog in there? It looks like one of those little thermal lunchboxes.

^ i actually like this (faux?) croc.... :innocent:

OMG, if that isn't faux I might die of shock. A whatever-thousand dollar bag for a dog to pee and crap in.......I for one blame Paris Hilton and Upper East Side society ladies for this.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Donald J. Pliner created the Baby Doll Pliner line way before Paris and everybody was famous. I'm sure she's helping 'em sell, though.

Edit: Actually, nevermind. I'm not so sure, now that I think about it.

i saw a lady carrying a yorkie in a prada bag, yesterday.
it wasn't even a carrier....it was just.....a nylon prada bag ... (though i'm not sure about authenticity...)

my pup.. she hates her carrier. she prefers to be perched on my shoulder (or as humanly close to me as possible) or running around in cirlces on the ground...i love her

Dogs do not "excreet" in their carriers. That would be like sh&%tting where you sleep...
Yes, Pilner was around way before Paris and Tinkerbell...

I think this is the big one it comes in 2 sizes

the small is $1300  the larger is $1400

We've got a small one like that. It was fine for my west highland white terrier. He didn't "complain" :P

Though we only use it when we have to travel abroad. I'd never drag the poor thing to go shopping with me or something.

all the vuitton in the movie was fake. if you notice the scene where they crash the car. and you see one of the brothers in the back window, you can tell that the murakami has the wrong colors, and all the other items are off. but movie was funny ;)

Don't you think that's a little silly? A movie that shows FAKE LV's?
I have my doubts on that.
