I thought it would be helpful to have a thread where we can have an overview of all the recent designer moves because I feel like there have been a lot of changes this season and it's hard to keep up. Some recent switches I can think of off the top of my head: Christian Dior Out: John Galliano --> ? In: ? Emanuel Ungaro Out: Giles Deacon --> Giles (as before) In: ? Gianfranco Ferré Out: Tommaso Aquilando & Roberto Rimondi --> Aquilano.Rimondi (as before) In: ? John Galliano Out: John Galliano --> ? In: Bill Gaytten Kenzo Out: Antonio Marras --> Antonio Marras (as before) In: Humberto Leon & Carol Lim Note: This thread isn't for rumors, so only post confirmed information and if possible provide a link to an article
There's also Chloe, out goes Hannah MacGibson, in goes Claire Weight Keller. I'm hoping she can take the house into a better direction than Hannah's camel-tinted 70's nostalgia

I'm really interested in seeing what will continue from Felipe Oliveira Baptista does for Lacoste. I've always loved his clothing from his label, they were always superhuman and futuristic to me. I'd like to see him blend that sensibility with that damn fossil from the dinosaur age. Is it wrong for me to think that Dior will pull a "Minni Vanilli", on us? In other words, having galliano being the "ghost" designer and someone else being the "face"? Or I'm just too corrupted to have faith in the system?
^ sounds like a great plot for a movie......would be interested to see that actually happen! Either way, for Dior- I don't want to see Marc Jacobs move there and Bill Gayten (amazing technically but conceptually/design-wise, Dior's not really moving forward).
oh my god, fashion scandal of the century! I really do hope this would happen just so I can see the headlines with they found out that John was pulling Gaytten's puppet strings
Guys seriously, it would be the stuff of LEGEND. I mean, Galliano made Dior into the machine that it is! Any suit worth their MBA would probably secretly consider this.
Dunno who's the previous, but this tweet stated April Chrichton is Sonia Rykiel's new creative director.
