Diane Kendal. Her work and make-up philosophy is the one I identify with most.
She eschews contouring (Aucoin), pointillistic perfectionism (Mercier), gimmicky undertone rules (Brown), in favor of a much more relaxed yet experimental beauty philosophy, which shines through in the natural beauty of the wearer as a result.
Diane’s laid-back approach carries over into her own make up routine (just cream blush) and her minimalist hippie personal style, which I adore. A veteran make-up artist, Diane’s talent and experience, coupled with modesty and quiet determination makes her a fashion industry hero of mine.
