Like the clothes, hate the models
The model in the pink outfit looks like a drag queen, a very bad one at that. Ruins the look and flow of the clothes.....
Love half of it, hate half of it.
New York has been one big disappointment for me.
the clothes are great and also the models theres something about them that goes well with what they are wearing
I really like those dresses. I especially like the magenta one with the funny little striped top over it and of course, the big, yellow, floaty evening dress.
I just inherited an old Vogue sewing pattern from the late 1970s that is a DvF-esque wrap dress which I am just dying to try out!
DvF has a real instinct for the shapes of women's bodies and what looks flattering thereupon.
Same, except I thought Ruffian was good.
some more pics:
i thought this collection was strong and beautiful and very very urban in a sophisticated way.
This collection was nice and I agree with style.com about this one bringing her back (the fall one was horrid!). I would take much from it, but I am glad she is back on the right track! Looking forward to fall's collection from her.
Love this top:
a few of my favs...
Jessica Stam looks awful in that yellow dress...
The Bangles are gorgeous!
nothing special imo... but the yellow evening dress is amazing and drop dead gorgeous. some of the skirts are nice.
I LOVE this fabric, but I would like this dress a lot better if it were cut more fitted and not so low on the chest.
Who is the little red-headed girl? She is unbearably cute! I like the fabric of her dress, though you can't tell much about the cut of it in this picture.
I really like this huge leaf print fabric, and I like this dress pretty well, too. It looks like the hybrid of a shirt-dress, a trench coat, and one of her signature wraparound dresses.
