I really like the white one but I bought the medium brown one because someone on the PF was selling hers for a really good deal. I'm very excited to see it since I haven't seen one IRL. I love the blue as well!

So what do you all think of the gaucho tote in comparison to the double saddle? Which one do you like better?

Some of the girls at PF have the tote because they say it's easier to use than the double saddle. One PFer actually returned her double saddle to exchange it for the tote. For the price, it seems that the medium is a better deal than the double saddle.

I personally dont like the tote at all. I dont think it looks good even on kate moss.

oh oh, I got one, its black/burgundy medium... but you all know that the black one doesn't come out until later this year... so that means something

all I can say is that my new medium gaucho is so perfect... but im afraid that the burgundy in the bag will throw me under the bus when someone sees it and think its fake.

you prolly already decided on the red, but i take back what i said about finding a cleaner white. i saw the white again today and i realized i forgot just how dirty it is.

i also saw white "gaucho 2" which is TOO clean. dior seems always too dirty or too clean. they're better at making unapologetically new things still. maybe they'll get better.

the blue is sooooooooo nice in person.

I was thinking the same thing about the maid! I'm not sure about the red vs. white, love the red on sienna but the white looks great in the model pic above. The blue is very pretty but I think it would blend in too much with jeans since I'd prabably be wearing it mostly handheld like on the runway. If you had to choose between the white and red sight unseen, which would you choose?

I think both are beautiful in their own way (even though white has that dragged throught the mud look) and they will suit you very well!

gosh, pictures of that white always suck us right back in. esp. ones w/ models.

i really wanted the white gaucho too before i saw it IRL.

the question is how clean of a white can you find? i would get a white if it's only mildly distressed. i don't know how they could call the one i saw today white. it's really like taupe it's so dirty.

i have to tell you i've noticed there's a wide variation of dirtiness and i also generally saw much cleaner whites in asia than here. also i noticed they pick much cleaner ones for the display window...

can you order 10 from eluxury and return 9? or, dior is getting shipments in all the time...can you hook up w/ an s.a. and ask them to sort through shipments when they come in for the cleanest one for you?

that white bag will be sooooo awesome for summer if you can find a clean-ish one. (otherwise the red bag is really very hot too. )

I dont think I can have more than 2 at a time, theres no way I could explain a 20k charge even most was going back! Asking the SA to pick out the cleanest one is a good idea though.

I'm still not sure about white vs. red but I'm leaning towards the white now. Thanks
