What season is this belt from? I've never seen it before. I know these zippered boots are from VOTC, and I thought the other ones were at first...but then I thought I saw them in an S/S 05 accessories lookbook. Were they carried over or new for that season? Preferences...first boot or second?

As much as I prefer the original zipped boots from F/W 2005 in BLACK, the ones with velcro are A LOT easier to put on and are likely to last a little longer. I have really small feet but the shaft is cut so slim on the first issue that the zipper finally broke after just a hand full of wear... pity, because they were my most favourite boots ever since! Beware also that those first ones you posted are a little different shape, the sole is flatter and the toe a bit more oval than in F/W 2005.

Oh, it hadn't crossed my mind that they could've been from F/W 05. Thanks for the info. I think I do like the rounded toe on the first one more. I dunno...I'm a sucker for zippers. I may just end up buying whichever I find in my size first. I like both pairs; I need a pair of cool brownish shoes/boots.

Do DH boots tend to run a half size large like the sneakers do?

They do, I have these velcro boots in store and I basically went down half a size with my customers, sometimes even a full. I also tried the 6,5cm heel patent boots in Paris and I wore a 39, I usually fit a size 40 with most designers.
