So I got to see the '06 black/white patent leather shoe shown on the runway - I kinda liked them, but i'm not sure its really me and at 530 US $ its a really expensive shoe. But it is really cool and its not the same as shown on Luisaviaroma.com.

So what do you guys think of Dior actually charging money for this? Apparently, it's a scarf.

Scarf, or a roll of grey t-shirt fabric that reminds me of the sweatpants we wore in gym class? Or perhaps dishtowel? Do you look at that and think "Dior"?
this reminded me of a similar one in the NY store, for SS2006, it's a bandana-ish print scarf and it's around $225. i am thinking of getting it as a gift for someone. but i am thinking that a 45rpm cotton scarf has a better fabric. then again, dior is looking to cash in on these "affordable" items, as i was told, they have a lot in stock. i think for this jersey scarf, i can just go to mood fabric store and cut them myself.

:p

Rofl. They sell the same thing at American Apparel...for 15 dollars.

I think the belt you posted is from Strip, since it's the only collection that used chains if I'm not mistaken...

What season is this belt from? I've never seen it before. I know these zippered boots are from VOTC, and I thought the other ones were at first...but then I thought I saw them in an S/S 05 accessories lookbook. Were they carried over or new for that season? Preferences...first boot or second?

Questions, questions, questions...

I prefer the second...although after reading tricotineacetat's post, I am not as sure. I just like the overall shape better. I like the zipper (ruling out quality), the more pointed toe, and the higher heel.

I like the first much better, the zipper on the second looks nice.... but the heel is higher

New top on eluxury, $300 , who said dior was getting cheaper ?

^I actually would really like it in a different color....even if it does look a bit prep school.

He he he. I am _not_ the "German" guy, but I almost wish I was him 'cos then I'd have a good really laugh. Hell, if I was him I'd give AlexN a superduper special price for that green belt, say 100usd (even if it means losing 20usd) if he just promised to stop WHINING:D

So, uh, eluxury's (meaning LVMH's) selling a polo and a wifebeater as special Dior Homme items? I mean, eluxury's DH selection has never been particularly good, but this is beyond lame.

I yearn for the days of Solitaire...

I don't care for it...or the polos on LVR. I'd much rather have the blue/black/white striped polo from S/S 05. And those were under $300, weren't they? I'm guessing the rise in cost is the union jack patch. It looks cheap and misplaced. It's like some guy said, "Let's throw a union jack patch on there, too! That's image! And we can charge an extra 50 bucks!" And maybe it's just the picture, but that pocket looks pretty jagged and unevenly cut.

that's pretty hilarious! The polo itself is so lackluster (no pun intended) that it's just sad. With the polo all buttoned up it looks so staid as well you know?

In regards to the new scarf (which sure looks junky in that photo haha), it looks like they're trying to redo the Follow Me scarf which was quite a nice piece and not that expensive when it was in stores if I remember correctly. Even though it was plain cotton, the stitchwork was all folded inside with no exposed seams. It was quite a nice piece to tell you the truth! For a time, I really wanted one.

Then (as others have stated on here), american apparel put out their extra long thin cotton scarves which are an order of magnitude cheaper than any of the DH ones. The look is the same, so why not go for that instead right?

I'm quite happy with my recent purchases.... nothing from the current or last season of course (hahahah). Got a nice tux which can be broken down into its components for wear (damn, they are so versatile!!!), a leather blazer from Follow Me (I know, thanks for everyones input, but I still like it... I can dress it down with a tee or something like that so it's not so... 90's hahaha), and the neon green hoodie from Luster.

All I need now is that neon yellow one....

Merry Christmas/Happy Kwanzaa everyone!!!
