At little off topic, but anyway....

2) tailored vest with pockets (see pic below)

You forgot the pic.

I look forward to seeing some KvA, although I doubt I can afford much. But I know they're going to stock in here in DK, so at least that's a start and I'll take it from there. ^_^

EDIT: Crap, too slow.

Cloak... i love Cloak, mainly because of their beautifully made jackets...

hmm.. i believe the pricepoints are somewhat the same as DH... but i'm not quite sure

They are planning on stocking Cloak from F/W 2006... but they're already stocking Number (N)ine & Raf Simons in the upcoming season... however they've only invested in N(N) accessories and shoes, because all those Axel Rose inspired clothing are not wearable..

Visvims.. yeah... the ones i have, are the Elk skin ones... they have never stocked those, but those two-tones they have on display are okay...

DoDo : Gorgeous purchases ! :woot:

KvA is quite cool.. i like his silhouette and the white sneakers vs. the baggy pants combo.. he's got the right amount of street, and chic, which i find very fresh and new... no wonder he was the most anticipated debut of the F/W 05 season..

one thing i thought was very cool.. is that he spend like a lot of time as an assistant to Hedi.. and naturally one would expect him to do something a la DH.. but he went in another direction, which i see as a great move..

:innocent:

Oh ... F/W :( But at least I'll be able to some what survive the prices, especially if I get a job

And no, the two-tones Visvims(I knew I had the name wrong) are not just 'okay'. They're really, really cute! I want a pair.

^ You should visit PT.. they've got some C Diem/LMaltieri stuff, which is very gorgeous.. :woot:

I was there yesterday and some months ago, but didn't see anything. It was probably all the Dsquare stuff that made me blind, ugh, it's horrible. What CDiem and Maltieri(Gotta confess I only know this one by name) do they have? (We're talking ParisTexas now, aren't we?)

Oh and btw., aren't you an "eBay'er"? :p If you happen to find find a pair of the white leather high-tops in size 40/41, could you send me a PM? I'd looove some. :flower:

They have some lovely boots, shirts & jackets... not much..

Yeah i'll look out for a pair of those..

Question for those with HL shoes and Dior Homme shoes... how do the marked sizes compare? I'm trying to figure out where I stand re: Dior Homme sizing.

Any info would be awesome! :)

I wear a sz 9.5 in Dior Homme sneakers... and sz 9 in a pair of Helmut Lang lace-ups...

so i would assume that HL runs smaller than DH...

I wasn't that impressed with KVA from what I saw during his inaugural season. A friend of mine bought the blazer with the "scarf" detail sewn into it. It wasn't a bad piece and the prices were overall lower than DH so if you're used to those prices, then KVA pieces look like they're damn close to free hahahaha.

As for Cloak pricing, it seems to be all over the place. The super thick scarves from this season were cheaper than expected and the tees were around $100 even before the sale). Then again, they had a constructed (very nice, aside from the weird cuffs) tux jacket that was around $1300-1500 which is on par with DH pricing. Plus the shoes were quite expensive too but likely due to the very small numbers produced.

With all that said, CDiem/LMaltieri/Linea pricing puts DH to shame hahaha. Even though it is exquisite, I do wonder how much Barneys and A pay for the items themselves. I bet a pair of shoes is like... $300 hahahaha. There has got to be a disgustingly huge markup. Just like with everything else in fashion.

@Baizilla - Thanks a lot. What are the chances of finding some of the new Visvims that size on eBay? And would it even be worth it getting a pair off eBay, or is the price the same/higher than on PT? (2400 DDK I think)

And if the only had CDiem shoes/jackets/shoes it must have been the reason why I didn't see it. I wasn't looking for any of that. :)

The F/W 05 Cloak jackets were delicious... but they had somewhat the same pricepoints as DH.. i remember seeing that short jacket with six silver buttons in person.. quite gorgeous :woot:

It wouldn't surprise me if.. Barney's and A took like... a couple of hundred procents profit on C Diem/Linea/LMaltieri.. :(

If you get those Visvims shipped from somewhere outside Europe... it will probably be more expensive.. as we have to pay like.. 35% VAT  but i really don't know.. my guess is that you should pick up a pair when they go on sale..

I almost bought a pair of C Diem boots... they were like 30% off.. :woot:.. but couldn't fit into a sz 8.5

what size are you looking for?

@Bai - The old Visvims are on sale, 30%. As they are initially more expensive than the new, nicer dual-toned ones, the price is pretty much the same, the difference is about 300-400 DKK. I'm waiting for B.C to get some new tight jeans, they should arrive in less than two weeks. If they go well with the shoes I'll buy both. I'm too impatient to wait for the sales when there's something I really want :). Well, thanks for the help. Maybe I should get around to using eBay myself ... but ... I'm so lazy :(

Hi everyone!

I have a small request - does anyone have a close-up shot of any/some of the DH scarfs? It has probably been posted here previously, but going through all those pages isn't an easy task.

Thanks for your help :)

Hi :)
i think i'm looking for a 28 - i wear 28 in levi's, g-star, and others... i've never tried on a DH jean thought.

what u guy's thoughts on KVA???

It looked great on the runway, but after looking at the stuff really up close in person at Harvey Nichols I was kinda disappointed. The blazers were too gimmicky and same w/ the knitwear. The shirts looked nice at first and i nearly bought one but after going back for a second look for some reason it just doesn't strike me as very timeless clothing. The best part were the waistcoats, the one with cargo pockets was great and the fit was good but i can't wear them as i am too tall and in the size that fit right on my body it was far too short in length.

His stuff is very pricey though...for what you get it's even more expensive than DH.

I was also kinda disappointed with Cloak's tailored pieces, at least what was available in Harvey Nics HK...tried on that crinkled tweed blazer the fit wasn't doing it for me, I guess Cloak isn't meant for my style. so I ended up purchasing a Y's blazer which was perfect in terms of tailoring and quality of materials, it wore even better than a similar Balenciaga blazer I tried on (no single blazers at Joyce for DH, it was all mediocre looking suits...they don't get anything like those shiny blazers or stuffs like that).
