Are you referring to the luster sling scarf? or is there something that I'm not yet aware of?

Magnum, it's true. The choice in price is easily between a dior blazer and a pair of Carpe boots. At this point I'd side with the CDiem just because it just about doesn't go on sale... Dior blazers do and since they are just about mass produced these days, you could find it for under $1k.

Hell, even the gorgeous Reflection blazer with the leather upper collar was on ebay for around $700 just a few weeks ago!

It was one of those shiny SS/05 short jackets which are not supposed to be buttoned. It's my favorite DH cut (compared to all those weird shapes lately), so I couldn't resist, espescially since it doesn't seem as like that cut is coming back anywhere soon. (Except maybe a special selection at Ave. Montaigne?) Also it was a good price.

As for the CD boots we'll talk when I've bought them! I gotta have them!

Yes it's kinda true, but remember that the 19cm will be 17cm.

so basically I bought the 21cm which will actually be 19cm, instead of the 19cm which would have been 17cm?

I didnt want it skin tight, but I wanted it to look like the models on the runway. Think the 19cm is going to look fine? I have some skin tight cheap mondays that look like stockings.

I hope the waist fits though, I always hover between a 27 and a 28

chim......unless you get them tailored, they will not look like the models on the runway. The only show that actually truly portrayed the fit you would be buying in store would be VOTC, IMO, but even then the pants were tailored to the models' bodies. Fw 05 and SS 06 have shown shorter pant-legs which are not really available off the rack.

I have to disagree. They're not strictly tailored to the models but instead many of them prototype did have a tighter and more unforgiving fit.

Also I saw a video from SS05 where Hedi basically said that they almost dressed up the models almost on-the-fly before the show.

The funny thing about those "brut" jeans is that they're just the raw denims that they've always had out.

I can see the team now:
"we need to raise prices again! What do we have that we can relabel?"
"how about this MASSIVE amount of raw denims that we've got? Obviously the outlets aren't selling enough of them at $50."
"good plan... let's give it a masculine name... something rugged, none of this androgyny and luxury tailoring that we used to do... what's that scent you're wearing today?"
"brut?"
"that's it! Tag it, pack it, ship it!"
"god bless the house of Dior and LVMH!"

^are the prices really raised?...I got some back in December 0f 04 and I think they cost me about 300 USD, or maybe a 215 USD...I cant remember

They used to be right around $215. Your memory is right... the outlets are 75% off and they're $50 there.
