Dior Rasta Collection

i hate it! although i'm so much of a dior girl, but this collection looks so cheap -- sorry.

I thought more people loves Rasta collection....in Milan it has been sold out very fast, but this doesn't mean anything, isn't it? Anyway I've bought my rasta messenger, it's nice, and looks perfect with jeans top and sneakers...i'm sorry nobody else like this...::((

I absolutely love the ad. I made it my livejournal (http://www.livejournal.com/users/cheaze) layout LOL

The set iself, I'm not crazy about it. I do like it a whee bit and probably could see me wearing those boots they have w/ the...hm..small messenger bag? The small rectangular one. :lol

But I do think it's kinda nice. :flower: I just prefer the other Dior collections more, I think.

Not really... I really like the Rasta Bowling Bag, my boyfriend also likes it and he bought me one day as a surprise present. I think it looks great with casual wear too. I know lots of people here don't like the Rasta collection, but I can't be bothered as long as I like it.

I feel like this bag is going to appeal to those that like flashy labels.

i like flashy labels lol
but i hate this bag

i like the collection.

i'm a sucker for rasta though. haha

i have the double saddle messenger (and the sneakers), and i think it's absolutely lovely to wear just around.........it's not supposed to be a classy collection... that doesn't bother me....cos i don't wear it to look classy. it's just super fun, and really my style.....so i'm happy.

though, i'm worried about wearing the sneakers + bag together.....i haven't yet...i don't really want to, as it seems like it could be a little bit of overload if i did......

I think its a fun and trendy collection, and its aimed to hit the younger crowd.I cant wait to get my rasta boston bag (got it as a pressie)....

And i adore the high top sneakers...theyr fun :D

I'd rather get a dice bowling bag than the rasta...

Then again I've kinda skirted away from bags that have the makers name printed on 10 billion times.

I wanna wear the Dior for myself and only the fashion few would know...I don't want to it to scream "I'm Dior Steall meeee!" and get mugged at school... I learned my lesson with a LV Cherry Blossom :ninja: Once is enough.

Oh my gosh, you got mugged at school? Did you get the bag back?

A few attempts were made but no one has been able to steal it.

Save the good bags for weekends I guess...I had to save up for those..I don't want them to get stolen :(

But Moral of the story- Don't bring any popular designer bag to school. If you want designer go for something that isn't obvious like an LV murakami...you're asking it to be mugged. Bring something like a Viv. Westwood plaid bowling bag...no one in my school knows Viv.

is it still being sold..i ve never seen a collection being reproduce din fakes as much as this one..its only second to the gucci and monogrammed LV

i always found the collection rather endearing...

it's loud, brash, tacky, but that was around the time of the height of Galliano's Dior, no?

that summer he showed that Egyptian couture collection....

had the large messenger, but after half a year it gets old. it was also more of a summer thing for me.
