Do expensive hairdryers really make a difference?

Has anyone here got the T3 Featherweight hair dryer? And would you recommend. I know it's pricey. Also, is the dryer light to hold because I style my hair and the hair dryer that I'm using at the moment is kind of heavy and gets tiring.

I had it but when moving out the maintenance guys came a day early and I ended up forgetting it at the apt It was light and I think it did dry my hair just a little bit faster, but I'm not sure if it's any less damaging. My hair didnt feel any different, but I think it's something that takes time to see as hair repairs itself. I only had it for a few months and dont use hair dryers all the time so it was hard to tell.

Sorry not the best answer, I'm not really sure if I'd recommend it or not since I dont know how much it actually does, but I do plan to get another one sometime in hopes that it really does not damage hair as much.

I did see a difference when I changed hairdryers.. I used to use a super cheap one but I bought a Parlux ionic dryer... it leaves my hair super shiny and it also dries it reaaally fast, so it was worth the $$. I think they are around 90 euros.

I dont think that a really expensive hairdresser is always better than a cheap one. it all dependes how long he knows you and your hair! and there will always be such people who only do what THEY think is best and not even ask what you want

^ they were asking about the actual thing that dries your hair, not the hair stylist But I agree there are plenty of stylists not working at super expensive salons that are very good.

I have always bought cheap-ish hair dryers, and they've been dying in really dramatic ways, so this time I got a professional tourmaline dryer that cost about twice what my old one did, and wow! it really makes a difference! Why did no one tell me this?? I think I'm going to be able to stop using the smoothing product I use, which will pay for the dryer fast.

I've had my mom use our cheap hair dryer on my hair and then I had my hair stylist best friend do it with the same dryer and (cheap) brush so I don't think it makes a difference, though when he did it came out looking a lot better, and looked very professional. It seems to be about technique and how you hold the brush.

I wish I could get an expensive one to try. Mine was my mums, I can remember her using it when I was tiny! I usually let my hair air dry anyway.
