i think the best way to wear dms it seems is in the winter, with anything you would normally wear in the winter.

Oh gosh i'm so eager to get mine! Scored a very nice, black, perfectly slightly worn in 10hole pair on ebay for 2 euros!! Okay, plus 9euros shipping costs.. Eugh. Still, very excited. Will post pics if i get them! Btw, i think docs work really well with skinny jeans, and i mean that in a post skinny-jeans-pro-or-contra-discourse manner haha. In fact, it's currently the only way i can imagine in which skinnies can be worn in a neutral and therefore working way.
