I have always adored Docs .. kind of unpolished chic .. but my legs looked like spider legs in the real deal, which is not good. But last winter I found boots (Italian leather, handmade) that look similar, but a bit more dainty. I like wearing them under skinny jeans .. people either love them or go "oh ..". Yeah. Here they are.

I love my docs! Iv got a pair of navy blue ones at the minute that I like wearing with little flowery tea dresses for a bit of a 90s grunge look, although now its getting warmer I might have to put them to one side for a few months

I want some knee-length black ones next

The only thing about Doc Martins though is i think they only look good in plain colours. Designers are always messing around with them putting patterns on them or crazy colours (there were flourescent nu-rave ones out last year, ick), and it just makes people look either like clowns or bad wannabe punks. Not a good look. Although I did buy a pair of calf length pink ones when I had my neo-punk phase. Needless to say they've now gone to a new home!
