1) is the best way to wear them in just wear them? that's a dumb q. :)

if the heel bit sticks into the back of your foot i think you can take them to a bootmaker and they can do something to make them not stick in, but yeah other than that i think just waer them

Unfortunately yes :( I broke both my pairs in by constantly wearing them around the house. For me, they had hurt too much to wear them anywhere else. Just wear big thick socks and you'll be fine. (I didn't know that and I got pretty big blisters ) Hope that helps !

I've been craving a pair of Docs for FOREVER! I saw the cutest pair of Docs with sunflowers on them about two years ago in a Hot Topic of all places, and I didn't buy them. I'm still kicking myself because I can't find them ANYWHERE! Any suggestions?

Also, how perfect is it that floral prints are in this season and we're all going crazy for Docs? I really love this pretty grunge revival!

ooh, sunflowers. i love the sound of that, but i'm thinking that if they were real, we would have heard of them? i don't know, but of course you could paint your own. custom dm's. B)

yahh I bought my pair of eight eyelet Doc's
best investment ever

loove them ;-)

now I'm thinking that I need to get a pair of floral docs. I saw a picture of myself wearing them when I was 6 & they looked totally awesome!

haha, i just went through the michelle williams thread and matilda was wearing floral docs as well...too cute

hm but back then it wasn't really ~fashion~. Until 2 years ago or so when they came back they were seen as really UNfashionable. Also, loads of little kids wear them I guess because they are strong and durable and won't get ruined so quickly. Still, I envy you having the sunflower ones!

I have many pairs of shoes but my black made in monochrome doc shoes always seem to make it on my feet.

I bought some on eBay and they looked amazing in the picture but then they came and they were SOOO chunky and ew. :(

I think it's because they were vintage they're very different from now. The soles are less thick but they are so wide and so are way too big for me :( I'm going to buy new ones next time!

You are best getting them in a smaller size. I normally take a 4, but a 3 is a better fit for me in docs. Had a look on the Blue Banana website and they have the bright pink ones I like. I will try them on tomorrow if they have them in the shop. I also like the patterned ones from www.cloggs.co.uk. They have quite a good range of docs on there. I'm not sure about the 'Skeledocs' (also on Blue Banana site) but thought I would show them to see what people think.

don't like the "skeledocs" (although i like the name - lol) but i think they look too "scene-y" - if you get what i mean

but i think the black/white ones are really cute

feline- yeah I know, I was just getting desperate so I decided to get my normal size even though I knew they ran big!
And tbh I don't like any of them sorry! The first ones are yeah really sceney plus I don't like the long boots. The second ones I just hate bright pink. The third ones I like but if they were shorter

i used to have a pair of the ox blood coloured ones ages ago, i miss them! they go so battered and used i had to throw them out, may invest in a pair of black ones for winter!

i have black 10-eyes, kind of regret it cos i paid a lot and they don't look right.

i'm getting 20-eyelets for fall.
