Just ordered a pair of the white kilty boots on ffany shoes on sale on QVC. They were $60.00 is that a good deal? Also does anyone have them?

IMO, if you can pull off a snow bunny or ice skater outfit, than you can wear these boots. Think long legs and something puffy on top. The white Dior watch would help make the look a little more upscale. If you have any doubts on pulling off this kind of look, send the boots back. Again this is just my opiniion.^_^

LOL seriously... I cant imagine the boots at all with an outfit like that. I picture snow boots with an outfit like you described & the fringey thing makes it not that kind of look in my opinion. I dont know lol. I guess Ill have to wait until I get them. They had them in black too but I already have black docs & have been wanting a white pair.

I think they're awesome, tiffany.
While I can't picture myself deciding on white boots (simply because my eyes always go straight to black/grey/brown pairs!), I think they compliment a look quite nicely.. they're definitely more challenging and the look is a lot more calculated but it doesn't require that much effort either as long as your entire outfit is not focused on them and has a balance on top. White jeans and subtle prints (esp. florals) or earth-colored layers on top would be my favorite choice for winter. an all white outfit with navy tweed/wool on top also sounds tempting.
Meh, I observed your boots for too long I'm actually convincing myself here, maybe I should get my own pair this season.:shifty:

I usually go with black too. I was also thinking winter layers with tweed/wool etc. Also maybe black, white & navy. I guess Ill just have to play when I get them. Im thinking they wont be glowing white for long which is a good thing lol.

^i think, if you dont have really long legs, you can't use them with short/skirt only, you have to wear stockings or tights.

LOL, Their not as big here anymore like they use to be........ But it's like bringing out your own "fashionista" style, so I personally would still rock'em......

Love the floral paired with that outfit; I did wonder how to carry off a printed shoe, but a simple look works well.

WOW!!! You've nailed that look. I have a niece who is the female equivalent of the Simpson's Comic Book Guy and when she wears boots the effect is much different.

I got my Bonnie Kilty detail boots in the mail yesterday & I really love them... they arent white white more like a creamy winter white.

i agree they do look better on people with longer legs, i havent got really short legs, but they arent long either, and i found that the shoe style DM's look amazing on me in skinny jeans or a skirt. but the boots just dont work. if anyone wanted to get DM's but thought they didnt look right like i did, i would definately reccomend the shoe style, i wear mine with rolled up skinnys and white socks!

I saw some brand new hot pink ones in a charity shop for a tenner....shame I'm not a pink person.

really useful for bad weather and a great cute replacement for snow boots or anything awful. i have 2 pair of combat boots and i loooove them as great i-can-still-look-cute-in-bad-weather pieces, ha.

snow in new york means i'm wearing black tights + cutoff shorts + tshirt + hoodie + leather jacket + docs or thick tights + flowy layered short dresses + docs.

Gosh, and I thought the martins trend would never be back. Now, looks like it is with big name designers featuring them in collections, as far as I know.. I used to love them back when I was younger, they were so much the trend then..

I just bought some vintage Fluevog's that are the same as those I had years ago. Love them.
