SOFTGREY~ sorry, i thought since others had posted pics of ones from chloe, max mara, marc jacobs, gaultier, etc.. that it was okay...:unsure:

im really confused, why can melanie post pics of her yoji ones and im not supposed to post mine??? if the heel height makes a differance...dr. martens makes high heeled ones too... :blink::ermm:

I have the 10 eye in the distressed sort of off-white..I will post photos later tonight when I get home!

I love the pointed toe on it as well!
 
In Italy girls wear them a lot. And not just lately but for at least the past 2 or 3 years.
I have to say I don't like them. Too rough looking.

I have those but in the black version... well they were black went I first bought them but after wearing them for a week now they have become a lot more "distressed" and a brown color is starting to show through... will post pics soon!
 
i do think lace up boots are back in style... they are all over sydney. doc martins in particular havent really hit yet... they still seem to clunky for the feminine and light dresses that they are being warn with here - it is summer and 30 degree weather after all.. i love the yoji colabs and other colabs though its interesting to see what different designers do with a classic

I still have my plain black 8 holed docs, and a pair of 14 holed oxblood ones from my teenaged years. When I was in high school I used to wear them with black pants tucked into the tops, or with knife-pleated skirts and burgundy tights--that was pretty much my uniform.^_^ Now I pretty much just pull them out when it is pouring or snowing. But if I had the yohji ones!!:blush: The almond shaped toe really kills me. *Sigh!*

It never really seemed to me like they went away in editorials--they always seem to be one of the uncredited accessories . . . well, not so much lately though, obviously!
 
i also had a couple of docs back in the days. one silver i loved!!
but to be honest i find these shoes very ugly.. not everyone can pull them off.
i dunno, to me its like an UGG shoe or even uglier? :unsure:

i would love to see post of you ladies wearing them though :)!!!
