Stripes and Doc-like boots?
It reminds me of a Versace collection from 1993.

MaxMara did a gorgeous version for F/W 06.07 I think it was. I randomly got an Italian magazine I'm not sure what it's about but it features a ****load of MaxMara, S' MaxMara and Weekend stuff and well, they show a load of outfits with that elegant DcMartens version.

I know this thread is about DocMartens but just as these MaxMara boots are pretty similar to Docs I hope it's okay to post these pics:

I just considered getting some for the first time a very short time ago. To me, it's definitely time to start wearing them. I usually wear grey jeans in a leather jacket, and I live in la la land where mud and snow is a problem.

OMG YES!!! i love it! i have my old pair from a couple of years ago! i have to admit i have seen plenty of people wearing them in Britain :D

I had a pair of the tall boots in high school and someone stole them from the changeroom during gym class:cry::angry:

i found a pair of bright yellow ones that were my mom's. i've yet to wear them, but i have a feeling they'll work their way into circulation.

i been tempted to buy a pair of shin length docs for the longest time..but i never gather myself together to get a pair
i wanted a white pair..but i saw a girl in my grade wearing it...made me change my mind
i actually want these ann D. boots more

Hmmm...I do and I don't like it.

I'm quite 'grungy' or so I'm told, but I'd much rather buy a pair of vintage chunky boots than wear Docs. Too many connotations...

i had a pair of the oxbloods 4 holes, silver 8 holes and cherry 14 holes.
i wore the heck out of the oxbloods. i bought them at the shelly's shoe store in london (anyone been there? its a veritable DM bonanza)

i think a lot of people stopped buying them when they started making the shoes in china. i think production values and prices went down. but ive noticed there is still some shoes that are made in the UK that seem to be good.

Wow! I never owned any but I do like the look especially how it's done with Stam in that editorial!
