Has the heel on your Chloe boot come off? I have the same ones and that has happened to me a few times...

omg.. if my heels came off my chloe shoes i'd be so pissed off.. they are like the most expensive designer shoe i have in my closet :o

I am getting a pair of 1460 originals, these are very very good for the winter.

IT'S TRUE!
i bought some at the end of last year to take on my trip to Europe, and my feet stayed warm and dry even when galavanting through fresh snow in cold cold Kiev.
they're really very comfortable too!

this isn't the most exciting outfit, but i did bust out the patent docs today so i thought i'd share :) sorry about the sorry a$$ lighting that prevents you from seeing the glorious docs in full

Oh I know! I have the most hideous dark scars on my ankles from boots, I dont the scars will ever fade too:angry:

it's official they are big. They were featured on both style.coms as must haves for summer. Oh and the floral Docs are Yohji Yamamoto for Doc Marten's and they run around $3000 (yes that's thousand)

I used to wear them constantly about '98/'99 but they were already out of style then, but now I got my feeling back for them and I absolutely want a new pair, what really stops me is my delicate feet, doc martens are rough IMO

i never had probs with my old ones, but both of my new pairs of 14 holes are SOOO cushiony soft and wonderful. the patent ones in particular are very light and the most comfortable boots ever! i would even wear them without socks!
:mowhawk:

i own a pair of older 14 hole docs have worn them sometimes everyday of the week sometime once or twice a week for 6 years and only look better

I saw a girl on the tube the other day wearing patent docs with the most amazing colored laces....they were like a soft mossy green almost. Hard to describe. Anyway the shade really set off the patent and she wore it with all black and red lips. It looked amazing.

The Docs/combat boot trend comes and goes with fashion...
I've always preferred -combat style, Docs mostly- boots to shoes(from work styled ones, to dress boots) and own about 20 or more pairs. Where I'm living in the US, Pacific NW they are always in, especially when it's not summer. Common sizes are rare to find here -and diff from British sizes-, so it's good when the trends set in for easier shopping availability.

doc revival? yes!

I shot this as part of a shoot yesterday..using the white yohji's...i happen to love the broken down combat boot look...

I adore doc martens ive had 2 pairs when I was younger,
one low black and one high yellow that I brought back from my trip to London!
my yellow ones fell apart, and I had to leave my black ones in Beijing airport couse
my luggage was too heavy!
I need to buy myself new ones!

Okay wait so you guys are saying that it's cool to wear the original Docs with the yellow stitching around now? Ahhhhhh how exciting! I wore em all throughout the early 90's. I had black ones, maroon ones and dark green ones. So you are all sure it's cool now? haha. They have been out of style for so long!

my advice is to wear it whenever u feel like it! u shouldn't care about if it's in or out with the people, as long as it's in with you then wear it! =)
