Dolce & Gabbana Haute Couture F/W 2022.23 Sicily

The first white part is interesting, feel like Moschino by Jeremy Scott. I wish they had more of that in the rest but it is what it is.

Pierpaolo want his taffeta cape back, but I will take this collection over Valentino this time. There are really some strong looks such as the Yves Saint Laurent knit dress inspired golden gown and the Valentino inspired second-to-last red gown because the craftmanship is exceptional.

all the black dresses at the start are amazing, i love the more fitted silhouettes. everything looks very expensive, i will give them that

I had LOW expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. Sure they’ve been on their Italian thing for about a decade but I found this refreshing. The black lingerie juxtaposed with these religious motifs, the finishing looked impeccable, and the venue was just gorgeous. It was a truly immersive experience into the D&G world, a bit repetitive but reminiscent of some of their older collections with sexier tailoring and I thought the corseted looks were stunning. Personally I thought it was a slum dunk in terms of what I want from a fashion couture experience.

Stunning collection from start to finish.
diet blah blah can suck it.
