great styling and not a madonna look in sight. a fun, all over the place collection, their best in some seasons.
Though this wasn't Dolce's signature gutsy take on glamour it seemed very good for them. Clearly alot of people are sick and tired of the hard edged-corseting they showed in the past seasons so it's nice for them to enter new territory and the good part is their not losing their touch.
hmm its okay, i preferd fall atcually, I doutn liekt hem but, its ok. It seems very beverly hills to me
they certainly have struck that 'hollywood glamour, print and rainbow' trend in their own way as you said Lena, its VERY all over the place
i hope you all know i'm not a Dolce&Gabbana fan, it just happened that this might well be their first collection i did not find annoying (hope i'm not getting soft )
In fact, that's the only thing that remained true to form. Not my cuppa, but much better than what I've seen from them in a long while.
is lena the fashion machine is overheating ? hmm i have to look at this more [/b][/quote] Lena dount worrie you are still a hardcore avant garde fashionista
I'm totally lost on this. I admit is a different direction for D & G, and that's always good, but I'm not fan of this direction either. It's just a different style than my own, but it's not a bad collection for their 'customers'. Staying true to yourself and to the customers always seems like a good idea to me.
Like I said, I'm not a fan, too, of the new dirction (nor Dolce) but it's a good one for them esp. during these times where we don't want to see hard-edge glamour. And this is still them while being in a new direction.
I'm a fan of Dolce coats, for some reason. And this collection is no exception...atleast they're taking a step in the right direction.
I like that they keep to the same proportion over and over. The overall shape and idea are always the same. This makes me comfortable that they're not changing things. And so I suppose I think it is sort of magnificent.
