one thing is a inspiration, another a copy

Even though one photo of the campaign seems like it was heavily influenced by that 1969 photo, at least Meisel elaborated on it and produced additional photos that are uniquely his work unlike some other photographers. Plus, I’m sure D&G had this on their mood board for the collection and wanted it to be a theme for the campaign as well.

Ok. Just watched the new Ripley series on Netflix. Seriously beautifully shot and acting wasn’t too shabby. But reminded me a lot of this campaign. Go watch it!
