Handsdown the best collection for me so far
The use of different fabrics together, the layering, cuts, beading and embroidery... Everything is just stunning! I don't think anything during NYFW will come close to this.

Wow, definitely her best collection in yonks. Love the layering and the ample use of brocade and particularly the not in your face 80s atmosphere that's running throughout. Just great really!

By far the best NY collection for me. Leagues upon leagues ahead of the rest.

Donna just goes from strength to strength, and on and on. Unlike so many of her contemporaries that made their name in the 1980s, she continues to remain fresh, continues to explore new shapes and new treatments all the while maintaining her strong identity. She may not be that the new cool label interweb fashion community covets that get headlines, but she's constantly evolving and remains so sure of herself without relying on her signature. I admire her so much for that.

This collection is at once sumptuous, luxurious and strangely, eerily gorgeous with all the various treatments the materials are getting. There's almost something resembling a beautiful decay with all the embroideries, brocades and rich textures. And it somehow also reminds me of Romeo Gigli's delicateness, mixed with Donna's modernity. Each look stands out, as does each piece. And as a collection, it's effortlessly and timelessly magnificent.

it's definitely a good looking collection, but i agree with fashionista-ta that it's difficult to actually see the clothes with that background.

The last 4 looks.. wow! I just love everything about this! The silhouettes, the fabrics, the details, everything! It's perfect! And it's one of those collections that didn't need a touch of a popping color to make it attractive. It's so chic and very wearable! I could wear it as it is, and I could even mix it up. Oh Donna <3

one thing though, visually speaking, I hated how the clothes blended with the backdrop. I wish it were a different color or setting
