i absolutely hate the fabric
That's all of the collection! That was exhausting! Haha.
I actually like most of the looks. And I like that she tried to experiment with draping and the bias cut. And doing a bias cut and draping with metallic fabrics are usually difficult.
hate the fabrications. some of these looks look as if they came directly out of the Louis Vuitton F/W collection.
what a breath of fresh air. donna karan's letting us know she's a fashion girl after all. after seasons of rigorous urban dressing, it's a relief to see her show her fashion chops by playing with unconventional -- for her -- silhouettes and colors. that skirt with the bunching detail at the bottom is genius.
I'm really in love with some of the silhouettes, especially the one that she reused on these tops this one. I think for a pre-fall collection, this one is extremely strong, and I can't wait to see the Fall Collection that follows this up. I'm torn on liking the color palette of this dress, but I definitely give her props for being brave about it.
I really like the green shades in this collection. the structure of the dresses suits womans body perfectly. Beautiful and wearable collection. I´m glad that she didn´t use too much black.
I love how so many of the looks drape, especially the dresses! Some of these pieces look fantastic.
while it's very refreshing to see her actually doing some good fashion, i find myself thinking MOST of the draping is way overdone.
of course that's what she "is" but still... it lacks some balance imo
Some major photoshopping going on here...
Some beautiful pieces, I love those with the strong military reference but dislike the pieces where the fabrics are too clashy etc. A really nice collection.
I want to see what she does for winter - I'm intrigued to see more of recessionista Donna Karan.
this collection is fantastic
i love it
Magnificent... I actually love almost every single piece...
The draping is heavenly. Love how she worked some of the necklines.
And I'm with Versace-Goddess, love the greens...
i like most of them apart from the tattered look like the one in post 4
