Think pink! In a girly-girl collection full of bows and plenty of flou, Donna Karan showcased a lineup of party fare entitled Bonjour New York. Delicate bow blouses, embroidered little jackets, sculptured dresses and her signature draped goddess gowns were all in the mix.

yeah that's a good point. Donna's clothes always look expensive (and they are so it fits but you know what I mean). They have a real luxurious but practical look to them. In the thumbnails it didn't look good but when i enlarged it I loved the draping, the necklines and the pockets.

Very lacy and cutesy. Other than being pink (and hopefully being available in other colors) is what makes me wary.

It's quite girly for Donna. I usually think of her as more powerful and feminine than outright pretty. That said, a lot of the pieces (which, knowing her stuff, will most likely be sold in a number of different colors including neutrals) are quite beautiful. That peachy-blush colored draped column is beautiful, as is the ballet pink wrapped dress with the bow tie right above it. I would've loved to see some more neutral colors mixed in to play off of the different shades of pink, things like oyster or a really soft pearly gray, but it's a pretty minor complaint.

As much as I usually hate super sweet and pretty clothing, something about pink really does make you smile....just a little bit.

I like the pastel colors, so soft and feminine. Very lovely collection.

its a beautiful collection, the soft pink dresses with the contrasting black straps are a nice touch

Not too crazy about the accessories or the color palette..
but the pieces themselves are gorgeous...
Donna's designs are always my idea of 'modern luxury'...
