i love Cate, so i hope there are better takes than this one
I wish they didn't include the car in that photo, it will look less cheap. Cate's gorgeous! Thanks, Lena!
it's not a bad picture, I agree about the car though
yeah....!!!! whats the car doing in that pic??
otherwise looks fine
I liek ti allot, fits very well with teh mood of the collection. The car is cool, btu dosnts eem to fit in this.
She's beautiful, so why can't you see her face?
i love this campaign soooooooooooooooooooooo much. acutally i just posted a topic about it...weird. similar topics come up at the same time a lot...or for me at least
i think it wouldnt be good without the car i luvvitt!!
I love Cate and I think she looks gorgeous.
I like the color in this ad. Rich and mysterious. The car doesnt bother me much, but I do think it would have looked better if the car was dissolved out a bit, less defined in the overall look. Cate is fab!
I couldn't agree more. I dunno my eyes saw the car first
Cate is amazing, that car is just ridiculous, what were they thinking?
I think they were thinking silly pun for Donna Caran
I think the car gives the ad a more of a narrative feel. If it were just a woman in the desert it would look like any fashion editorial. But the man with the car proposes many questions. Who is he? Why is she in the desert with him? Is he leaving her? Did they fight? Will he leave her to fend for herself? It gives the ad a realistic feel and I don't think it was left in the picture by accident.
chickonspeed called it on the narrative feel. The March mags are out and we're seeing the story unfold. The ad in Harper's Bazaar shows Cate riding shotgun. Her profile, the whole picture is gorgeous.
