the very first bag, the Alto Medium Top Handel Lock Bag, looks like a Birkin wanna be or something. i just noticed. does anyone else see that?

Definitely, it's very similar

Dooney and Burke bag are the lowest to me (Besides Baby Phat). They are rip-off of other high end designer. The only reason their so popular is that their the cheaper version of LV and so and so for teenage girls.

theyre not the first to copy the birkin. i didnt hear many complaints about the arden b rip off. at least this is not an exact copy of it. there will always be brands who copy the luxury designers., like bcbg and a.b.s. the purpose of many mid priced brands is to offer similar products the luxury designers have to offer. i think if they made completely original designs, they would charge a much higher price for them, and then others will copy.

that s-lock is definitely LV-inspired...the rest is total birkin knockoff.

it's obvious. and sad. and that bag is a new model, so this makes it even more obvious that it's a birkin(/lv) knockoff.

what has d&b become!?!? not that i ever liked dooney, but they need to stop trying to attract the young kids and stick with marketing towards their "normal" clientele.

I guess so, but you absolutely cannot compare the quality (and prices) of D&B to Baby Phat. Baby Phat bags and such are like $40 whereas D&B are like $400 and up!
