I liked s/s 2010 Dries a lot more! I actually miss DVN's early work ,more colorful pieces.
Hmmm...I think it's not that different from usual, Dries likes his flower prints. However I have to say I wish there was a little more substance and excitement...it feels a little lazy for a collection from someone as consistent as him.
Less eclectic than usual. I am getting a Japanese garden vibe from it, which I think he translated into something peaceful and easy to wear. Loving the dye-downs.
Such a fab designer! Loving the ombre, esp. on coats and pants, and those baggy wide legged jeans look awesome. The oriental flavour of the select flower prints is very pretty as well. There are so many things here that impress.
Admittedly I am not quite as bowled over - i.e., I NEED everything! - as with the Fall 2010 collection, but this one is still very very lovely, imo.
I don't understand surprise nor disappointment surrounding the floral prints. he always does prints, and often floral. not to mention they're pretty minimal this time around. personally, I love this - despite my love for a more ornate Dries... this is near perfection for S/S. the proportions, ease, materials... all lovely.
It's lovely. He always has such beautiful cuts. Of course, I miss the prints. His prints are what I look forward to each season, but the ones he did use are stunning.

Die for this, i'm in love.

I love this blazer
This looks okay. I'm not terribly wowed by anything though.
It's business as usual for Dries.
Well. Does this mean I'll have to get into wrinkly, feet-sucking pants again?
Jokes aside, I always love Dries but I'm not really feeling this at all. Oh, except for the jackets and the shoes which are beautiful and impeccable. Maybe it'll grow on me, I probably go through it a few more times before making my mind up. I do think 30 year-old me will love this, though!
Wow he is an amazing designer , the textures and cuts and volumes just WOW
