Dsquared2 is a Disappointment Squared

I was EXTREMELY disappointed by the S/S 06 runway for Dsquared2, Everything was the motherf***ing same. They were always so fresh and dirty. Even when they did the whole church deal they still had quirky sayings on their shirts and junk. Now it was like they walked into the office and said "One word, OVERALLS. I'm goin on break".

The Dsquared show was a HUGE dissapointment. They came out the gate as an alternative to Dolce and Gabbana but have been relegated to being like an abercrombie and fitch spin off. I still cant believe they were in the running to take over the House of Celine awhile back....THANK GOD THEY WERE PASSED OVER!!!!! They have gotten such negative press with this show that they will probably come back next season with a stellar collection...at least one can hope!!!!!

Meh, Dsquared really never disappoints because I never look forward to them. I did like thier F/W collections, they were exceptionally witty and had good clothes I was hoping they kept it going for S/S but they sucked, I hope the womenswear won't be inspired by Daisy Duke...


I saw the DSquared trainers at Saks, holy crap, they are rip offs of the Lacoste with the rainbow colored straps and they have DSquared in huge letters on the side.

And speaking of DSquared2, I really used to like them, especially their airplane show. Generally, they're more in the level of mall clothing, but they weren't really that bad. Until this season.

The menswear is up at Men.Style.Com but the womenswear will be shown in October.

Dsquared likes to preview thier womenswear via thier menswear so I think we're in for Daisy Dukes and skin tight overalls
