Her natural eyebrows were still thick and perfectly shaped but she would draw them on EXTRA think. Not very many people could pull that off with out looking like a man.

I posted this a while back, it's from ebay. Is it a real photo?

And do I see Chuck in the front there...?

I am having a time trying to post my pictures....but here is Edie's Chelsea Hotel original door-I'll keep trying[I don't know how to mark them or put them in the right file,to show more than one picture.]

wow! thanx! :flower:
it looks kinda spooky...

Thanks Little Tiny and emily marie for posting both those pics....I agree with everyone...that picture of the door is a little eerie!!! And I have never seen the one of Edie, Chuck, Pat Hartley and....I can't tell but it looks like Baby Jane....

You are all welcome!Yeah, the door and the little area where her door was is eerie,it's a sad feeling corner, but most people would find the overall feeling of the Chelsea sad and eerie-all except for the glamourous lobby. The feeling of the halls is very mysterious and deadly secret. No,unless they have changed, maybe due to Factory Girl,I dont think its expensive. But,they were redoing alot of rooms back then in the mid-nineties.New York is very expensive though as far as trying to live there.

Here's the last one I'll post for now-this is my "live there"room. It's much different from the "visitor room"-visiting,most would think are nicer but more like any other hotel in America.I prefer the "live there" room. And prices varied if you lived there by what you wanted, what you'd do to the room-you can paint it if you'd like.Stanley Bard likes artists-[plus,the rooms aren't really the reason anyone chooses to stay-it's the background, the legend, the atmosphere].

Those are beautiful, haunting pictures! The girl in those is very pretty. You, I assume?

I love those kind of decaying apartments with that radiator/ribbed thing. I want one someday. ha

yes, that's me[the female, the guy is an old boyfriend].Thank You for the compliment.I really agree with you about those old decaying apartments.Too bad they were doing renovvations to rooms at that time.
-They will continue to remove all of the ghosts!!!!

Thanks for the pictures Little Tiny! The inside looks a lot like my sisters apartment - it's an old one, too. I hope i can stay there next time i'm in New York, but i'm usually broke!

If you think looking at the door of the room she stayed in is eerie, imagine being inside the room.

Thank You everyone and you are welcome!
I'm not afraid of ghost,I would love to have been able to stay in her room.I would be alright about the Sid/Nancy room as well.
Well, you can go party and stay in N.Y and just wander in a few hours-there was always lost, hippie crazy types on a "said"suicide mission lurking around. And at first[an hour or so]noone bothered them. It's expected with all of the old rocknroll history of the building.

Yes,this is a real Factory Era photo but I've seen it and seen it only on the computer-I don't know where it originally came from.Is it from Billy Name's website?I cant recall if I saw it first there.
I love it though,it's one of the coolest!
-actually,given the people in it,I bet it's from the Ciao out-takes,you know-the groovy movie that it was supposed to become but never got sorted.Look at their clothes.........

:D:D:DLittle Tiny,

Thanks so much for sharing your pics and info.....the picture in that room is alot what like the picture I had in my head, with the old radiator and such....thanks again for sharing!!!!:flower::flower: Maybe I will make it there someday!!!

I believe this is a Billy Name Photo

That picture is definetly from the Ciao outtakes. It looks like it's in Betsey Johnson's store. I don't think it's a Billy Name photo but i could be wrong, i think it might be one that the Ciao people put out.

gosh I can not remember where I saw that pic... but it said something about them modeling Betsey´s clothes.
