She's one of the main reasons I buy Elle Russia every month)
She's simply great.

^^I wish I could get Elle Russia [amongst a few others] where I am! I love her work very much.

She didn't leave voluntarily. It was all inside politics on the part of Karina Dobrotvorskaya.

really? and who are they? all fashion-team? are they do it by themselves or they have been fired by new editor-in-chief?

Ekaterina Fedorova - Junior Fashion Editor is one of them
Leaving my favorite magazine((. Feel so lucky to have spent 3 years there with Aliona Doletskaya.

This has nothing to do with Karina Dobrovotskaya as ELLE is not a Conde Nast publication.

About the editors - nobody got fired, but a lot of people are leaving after Aliona because they enjoyed working with her so much, whereas Victoria is not as impressive a character. Simon Robins was particularly close to Aliona so he left the magazine as well, to move to London.

Simon Robins left Vogue Russia after Aliona Doletskaya.

Ekaterina Mukhina - the first Russian Fashion Director at Vogue Russia. Publishing house "Condé Nast" announced the appointment of Ekaterina Mukhina as fashion director of Vogue Russia. In this position, Ekaterina replaced Simon Robins who decided to leave the magazine.

Ekaterina Mukhina education reporter, in 2002, she graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University. Lomonosova. Her journalistic career began in Vogue Russia: from 2003 to 2004. She worked as a junior fashion editor.

In 2004, Ekaterina Mukhina moved to the publishing house "Hachette Filipacshi Shkulev" to the journal Elle, where she was the first stylist of the magazine, then a junior editor and editor of fashion. In December 2006, was appointed director of fashion magazine Marie Claire.

I am happy for Ekaterina but at the same time I can't help being shocked to say the least due to the situation at Vogue Russia.
Anyhow congrats to her! :flower:

I'm excited to see what she will bring to Vogue Russia...her previous styling leaves much to be desired but tbqh, Vogue Russia is a major step up from Elle Russia. I assume she deserves the position so we'll see! ^_^

^^ I am excited as well to see what she will bring to Vogue Russia, definitely a big step from Elle, so congrats again to her.
Is the september issue the last to be launched under the direction of Aliona or the first to be launched under the direction of Victoria?
