It was presented today in Paris, no HQs so far unfortunately.
Shot in Chicago, and I love the city's architecture as backdrop, excited to see more.

Why did they even bother getting Toni when Anja had a more commanding presence. It just looks lazy.

Toni is such a hit and miss print model,usually miss and this is no exception! Anja was perfect here and if they had to replace her, it should've been someone like Edita or Doutzen.

Just to clarify, this is a completely new fragrance.

However, it's very weird how similar it looks to Anja's Le Parfum ad. I don't understand why they hire a top photographer, go to Chicago etc. when the result looks like Anja's NYC based campaign. Especially for a new fragrance, I'd suppose they come up with something the buyer doesn't know already. (Which is not Toni's fault by the way.)

they could have kept the "model on the street, city background" concept but why copy the same pose and dress movement? people get payed to do this...?

Yes, as far as I understand it is a completely new fragrance.
The one Anja's ad is for is called 'Le Parfum', this one is called 'Rose couture'.
They are having a huge launch in Paris, today was interview / press day, but it'll only be out in March.

Okaaay, very confused. It's up on their website, and it seems it indeed is for Le Parfum (which makes much more sense given the similarity, but still seems very lazy).
So they combined the launch of a new fragrance, which is all over instagram, with the launch of a campaign for their old fragrance? Guess they need to work on their press strategy.

I think I like the interplay between dress and architecture A LOT more than in Anja's.

So do I!! There's life in that shot and Anja is wearing that dress, not the other way around. With Toni everything looks so fake...the backdrop, her frozen expression....

i actually like it, Toni's elegance embodies the Ellie Saab vibe tho its weird that the concept is too similar
