This is maybe the best RTW collection ever from Elie Saab.
It’s sexy, perfectly executed and I think his culture made possible for him to totally understand the way African women dress and the way to mix it with his aesthetic that has became global but that was first for women of his region.

Traditional outfits (Not toi mistake with Folklore that has very inspired Western fashion) requires a sense of restrain elegance. Those are the outfits that are made by the tailor for a special occasion and it’s mostly always about a long and lean silhouette...Almost royal and Elie did it wonderfully here.

It’s so luxurious, simple, effective and timeless. And I love how this has a 70’s kind of flair. It’s a much more layered than what it seems and it’s perfect.

Despite Elie Saab not being my personal taste, this is one of my favorite collection of the season. I can see so many people that I know wearing this!

I think it's a fairly boring collection from them. Its seems so casual

Although the first part is not that great, i actually like most looks.. this collection is classier and less tacky than his other collections.

Very elegant and surprisingly restrained. I love the daisy print.

This collection is a major improvement. I actually love the styling.The simpler, unbeaded looks are actually quite nice. I love the whole red caftan look as well as the pleated pieces. He is actually good at that and I think he can explore even further into this category. Less beads and sequins and more silhouettes.
