I love the entire collection, it's my favorite Pre-Fall so far . I especially gravitated towards the fur!

There's nothing groundbreaking for fashion in general but I think it's quite groundbreaking for the Elie Tahari woman.

let's be clear: there's no big city working girl who doesn't have a little bit of elie tahari hanging in her closet. it's a top-of-mind brand for the "important meeting," "lunch interview," "drinks after work" crowd. it's interesting to watch how the big trends from spring -- the marc jacobs' seventies' coloration, the celine austere silhouette, et al -- inform this line right down to that thrown off fur thing prada did so well.

Yeah I saw the collection and I was like "didn't I just say that Prada and Mark Jacobs gave designers the stamp of approval they needed to design what they wanted for PreFall and Fall collections"... but I have to say I prefur this fur to all the fur from Prada

A beautiful, absolutely wearable collection with the most sophisticated styling and colour palette; the two different reds here? I love.

I knew someone would compare the fur pieces with those at Prada's show, but some of them actually remind me of Lanvin FW 09 elastic fur stoles hugging models' arms.

It's just styling though - so many designers have styled jackets by hanging them on the shoulders like a cape since Philo did it at her pre-fall premiere collection at Celine.
