The fluorescent brights — particularly cobalt blues and brilliant reds — and minimalism in the work of the late artist Dan Flavin created a starting point for Elie Tahari’s resort offering. He mixed blue floral knit dresses and red suede outerwear with sporty separates such as tweed jackets and elongated vests in tones of black and gray.
Tahari also added a dose of Seventies to the looks, imbuing his collection with plenty of fringe and lace — the latter used as embellishment down the sides of gray trousers, printed on sheer, sexy blouses and inset on blazers, giving the lineup a distinctly feminine feel.
