A real shame the March cover of Vogue Paris done practically nothing for Valentina's career. Still, it's nice to see the Brazilian magazines championing their own talent!

What a gorgeous cover, much better than what Vogue Paris did with her. Btw, this is Valentina's second Elle Brazil cover, and in a way I think they were instrumental in getting her recognised.

It looks to me like Valentina's career will go the same way as Andreja's - one page US Vogue shots celebrating her 'bravery', random global Harper's Bazaar covers, small little edit here and there etc etc. Unless of course she catch the attention of Katie Grand, Marc Jacobs or walk for a Brokaw show. Because I don't think Emmanuelle Alt will back consistently - she's not renowned for her loyalty. The fact that Valentina is trans precedes her looks or actual ability, at least in the industry. And designers and magazines who don't want such polarising girls for their fashion (and there's still a great deal of those), won't be booking her, I'm sure. But I hope I'm wrong.
